Gather your friends and family for a fun, creative, and relaxing private Learn to Woodburn session with Heather Martin of Fire Work Designs!
In this introductory workshop, each participant will create a beautiful, personalized design on a maple or cherry (live-edge, food-safe) charcuterie board—and leave with a unique, functional piece of art!
You’ll learn the basics of pyrography using the Walnut Hollow Versa Tool, including:

Creative Mindfulness/Intuitive Session
Are you feeling stressed or simply need to unwind?
When was the last time you enjoyed what you were doing so much that you lost track of time and then suddenly realized three hours had passed?
Create a beautiful design on your choice of surface while getting into the process and tranquility of burning.
No artistic skill necessary!
In this session you will follow a series of readings and prompts to create a fluent, intuitive and encapsulating organic design using either the Walnut Hallow variable temperature Versa Tool or Razor tip Woodburning System intended for groups with 5 participants or less.

Explore introductory woodburning techniques while creating your own
charcuterie board, coaster or spoons.
In this 2.5 to 3 hour session, guests will either choose from a variety of templates
or receive a step by step technique walkthrough using one template image.
Both options focus on individual exploration of shading, pattern and texture.
Group focus: Are you trying to explore specific ideas with your group?
We can discuss adding a specific emphasis on your session including
Creative Thinking, Confidence Building, Team Work or keep the focus on FUN!
